While in grad school last year, my Science Writing professor, K.C. Cole introduced me to the skin care products, Gilded Cells. She gave me the Targeted Stem Cells Serum and put me in contact with one of the scientists who had founded the company.
By the time I had actually met the scientist-founder in person, I had been using the serum for a couple of weeks. When we met, she complimented my skin.
The first day I used the serum, I noticed that my skin seemed to be extra hydrated and had more of a glow. The consistency of the serum is very moist and almost feels like a gel.
Skin Care Regimen and Application
Gilded Cells says that the serum should be applied to a freshly washed face, however, in the mornings, I usually do not cleanse my face. Instead, I’ll lightly wipe it off with a washcloth or use a cotton pad with a toner to remove any debris and oils.
After, I apply the Targeted Stem Cells serum and let it absorb for a couple of minutes before I continue with my other moisturizing products.
At night, I wash my face, let it air dry, then I apply the serum.
The first bottle of serum lasted nearly five months. And, after meeting with the founder, she gifted me with another bottle of the serum as well as their Under Eye Multi Complex Serum.
For the Under Eyes
This under eye serum is really phenomenal. It has a very similar texture as the other serum and I use the size of less than a dime-sized amount, as a lot goes a long way, for each eye. The under eye serum has a tightening effect and truly makes my eye area look lifted and very bright.
What I appreciate about these products is that I was able to see the results from day one. The hydrating and lifting effects were noticeable immediately. I also like the fact that the company is owned by two women who are both scientists with an understanding of how the skin and the aging process, and more importantly, how the anti-aging process works.
For over a year, I have been using the serums and I know that they will continue to be a staple in my skin care regimen.
