Skin Detox Tea by Yogi

I’ve been drinking it for about two years and read quite a few reviews before I actually indulged.  Initially, I wasn’t sure about it because of the name; “detox” screamed at me and my senses.  I was nervous my skin might react and breakout, however, I can emphatically say, “nope, not at all.”

This tea is hands down my favorite tea.  It tastes absolutely delicious!  And, I have noticed that my skin has a nice glow when I drink it regularly. I’ve been drinking it for about two years and read quite a few reviews before I actually indulged.  Initially, I wasn’t sure about it because of the name; “detox” screamed at me and my senses.  I was nervous my skin might react and breakout, however, I can emphatically say, “nope, not at all.” This tea tastes absolutely delicious.  Did I already write that?  Well, no need to delete the redundancy, because it’s the truth.  It is very aromatic, naturally sweet and has a mild fruity taste. I typically use two teabags and let it steep for about 5 minutes before I begin drinking.  I’ve noticed that if I steep it longer than 5 minutes, the lovely taste becomes a bit too herbal tasting and not as sweet.  I have never wanted to add a sweetener, because it already has the perfect amount of sweetness infused. I usually drink this tea at least two or three times a week, and I especially drink it if I have a big event and I want my skin to have a brighter glow. There are a number of antioxidants in this tea which is formulated with rose petal, hibiscus, burdock, yellow dock, red clover and green tea. While I do notice a subtle glow to my skin, I can’t say my glowing results are from this tea alone.  It tastes good and I feel good drinking it, because I see it as comforting attention I am giving to myself, a healthy indulgence that allows me to slow down and to focus on happy thoughts.  Focusing on the sweet taste makes me feel good, happy, comforted. That’s the thing about tea.  I think it’s a great tool that helps to remind us that it’s beneficial to slow down in life.  Because tea is so hot, we have to think and pace ourselves before we take a sip and while we’re waiting, all kinds of lovely and deep ideas seem to emerge.  I am reminded of my happy life, I see my happy thoughts and know that the true glow is always mine and comes from within. Have you tried this tea?  What are your thoughts about the taste?  Any glowing results you ‘d like to share?
