clear skin

Raise a glass to your skin; in other words, raise a glass for your skin, as we toast to good skin health and an abundance of all good things and infinite blessings for 2017.

Healthy skin begins on the inside.

Yes, you can eat fruits and vegetables and get skin healthy benefits, however, your skin responds much faster when fruits and vegetables are juiced, because the nutrients flow into the bloodstream quicker.

I’m a witness to the very fast effects these below juices can have on the skin. When I’m consistent with a juicing, blending or smoothie routine, within about two days, I can see significant beauty benefits to my skin: clearer, prettier, and healthier, with more of a glow.

These recipes are great for juicing, but, if you’re short on time, use the ingredients in these recipes with your Vita-Mix or high-powered blender, making sure to add in liquid to help them blend more efficiently.

I add in just a bit of an organic juice, either fruit or vegetable as my base, just to help get the ingredients blending smoother.

I honestly prefer using my Vita-Mix or The Magic Bullet for these recipes; they’re heartier and I noticed faster skin benefits.

These recipes hydrate and de-puff the skin while making it glow and look more youthful.

1 handful of spinach

1 handful of arugula

1 inch of fresh ginger root

Combine all ingredients in a juicer or high-powered blender.

2. Yogi Skin Detox—if you want something warm, try this boxed tea that I wrote about a couple of years ago. This is one of my favorite teas—it never fails me; when I drink it consistently, my skin glows beautifully.
